Summary: I have over 17 years experience as a technician/engineer. My background began as an Air Force Electronic Warfare Technician and continued with Interferometrics and then with SPARTA. Exposure to many electronic technologies provides me with the ability to assemble, integrate, and test most circuits.

January 2004 – August 2004

Duties include computer software and hardware configuration before and after each training class. Scheduling world wide shipping and receiving of training equipment. Inventory control. Equipment maintenance and repair.

 

Laboratory Engineer, SPARTA Incorporated, Centreville, VA

September 1994 – January 2004.

Duties include assisting Engineers in developing designs from concept to finished product. Design of VME, PCI, ISA, Cardbus and custom circuit boards. Network design and maintenance of both infrastructure and user systems using Linux and Windows. Facilities maintenance including design of current facilities. Engineering lab design and setup.

 

Electronic Technician, Interferometrics, Incorporated.

September 1990 - June 1994.

Assigned to the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer at the United States Naval Observatory (USNO), Washington D.C.

Technician duties included building, testing, and repair of many electronic, mechanical and optical subsystems of the interferometer. System Specification and Design included designing wiring harnesses and power distribution for the telescope control equipment racks and motorized optical delay line control racks.

 

Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist (AFSC 2A573C) 193rd Special Operations

Wing, Pennsylvania State Air National Guard, Middletown, Pennsylvania.

May 1990 - Oct 2002.

Duties included in-shop and flight line repair of RF receivers, infrared transmitters and explosive dispensing systems. Held a Secret security clearance.

 

Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist (AFSC 45651) 7th Special Operations

Squadron, Rhein Main Air Base, Frankfurt, Germany.

April 1987 - April 1990.

Duties included in-shop and flight line repair of various RF and infrared receivers, transmitters and mechanical and explosive dispensing systems. Additional duties included Avionics Branch Security, ALE-40 flare loading instructor, and Mock-up Crew Chief for the AlR-69 and WJ-1840 receiver systems.
